As A Veteran of 21 years of service active duty and Army National Guard

 

 

please join me in this prayer to honor our military personnel, both those who have passed and those still with us, as we approach Veterans Day and the holiday season:

Prayer for Our Military Heroes:

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with gratitude for the men and women who have served and continue to serve in our military. We thank You for their enduring bravery, dedication, and sacrifice, knowing that the freedoms we enjoy are not free but have been paid for by their unwavering willingness to defend our country.

Lord, we lift those who have gone home to be with You, especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We ask that You grant them eternal rest and peace in Your presence. May their legacy of courage and service never be forgotten.

We pray for Your ongoing protection and strength for those still with us, both active duty and veterans. Surround them with Your grace, and comfort them in moments of struggle, stress, or loneliness. Guide their hearts and minds, and give them peace in knowing that their service is honored and appreciated.

We also ask, Lord, that You bless the families of our military personnel. Give them courage and support as they walk alongside their loved ones, enduring separation and uncertainty with faith and trust in You. We are grateful for their sacrifices and the strength they provide to our service members.

As we celebrate this Veterans Day and the holidays, let us never forget the cost of freedom. May we honor our veterans with the respect they deserve and keep in our hearts the profound truth that freedom is never free.
